Elders in Memphis and Shelby County deserve to live safely, free from abuse, neglect, fear, and emotional pain.  The Elder Lifeline is dedicated to helping elders, their families, and caregivers who need support, crisis intervention, collaborative problem-solving, connection to vital resources, and a calm port in difficult times.  Whether the issue is emotional well-being, mental health, financial exploitation, or other issues facing the elderly, the Elder Lifeline is here to help. Barriers like fear and social and emotional isolation can prevent our vulnerable citizens from accessing needed services.

The Elder Lifeline provides a free confidential resource where elders and those concerned about an elder can get assistance 24 hours a day. The Elder Lifeline is proud to be a part of the Community Coordinated Response to Elder Abuse sponsored through the Plough Foundation. Working with a range of community partners, such as the Family Safety Center, Adult Protective Services, and the Senior Advocate Program of the Shelby County Crime Victims Center, the Elder Lifeline is committed to helping elders at risk for abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation.
