TSPN Releases Alarming Stats on Suicide in Tennessee

MCC partners, Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network, recently distributed a press release on how suicide has impacted our home state – saying “Three Tennesseans die by suicide every day. A new status report reveals a 24.4 percent increase in suicide deaths among children ages 10-17.” Click here to read the entire release.

MCC Participates in Suicide Prevention Expo

We proudly participated in the Shelby County Schools sixth annual suicide prevention expo, Save Our Students (SOS), held on Saturday, September 29. The event was hosted at the wonderful Geeter Middle School. We enjoyed time spent talking to students, parents and educators alike about preventing suicide among youth.
